Ahhh it's the weekend! My second weekend of complete rest!. Got up at 8.30 though, thanks to Mich's alarm! But twas a good morning spent reading and watching Gilmore Girls. It's 3.15 and I've just decided to switch off my media player for the day. So that would be 6 hours of Gilmore Girls back-to-back!
I've a feeling that this weekend's gonna be great! My homies are back!!! (except for Nicky...that wuss is still at home with his mommy!) Was just talking to Jason the other day and he was talking bout how weekends are supposed to be for rest and to retreat from the everyday things which are hectic and which take up so much of our time. Weekends are meant for ME time. And i guess more than often we all get so busy with assignments, work, activities, meetings, more activities and other comitments that we neglect ourselves. I guess sometimes its just good to take time off to just chill at home with a good book and coffee.
Thinking back, i don't think i remember the last time i chilled with myself or even my friends. Things have just been busy and there was always so much going on. But yesterday I had to check out this pub in Cyber so Alvin suggested we all go. So Alvin, Mich and me just drove up the street to this English pub. It was a really cosy place, looked kinda posh and I had doubts bout going in. But we went in anyway cause i needed to know more bout the place. Turns out, it's a student friendly place with 20% off on F&B and a massive party every third friday of the month! Leona and Kae Ee joined us a bit later. Though we didnt really do much, i felt that it was a really great night out. Just havin a few drinks, with good company and a nice atmosphere. Now who says Cyberjaya is boring??? With the right people, Cyberjaya's like the most amazing place ever!!

on a roll

Serendipity—A fortunate accident
I like that word.
Well the movie brings a whole new meaning to it and although it seems kinda far fetched, I guess it's nice to dream about such things once in a while.

Yet even in certain defeat, the courageous Trager secretly clung to the belief that life is not merely a series of meaningless accidents or coincidences. Uh-uh. But rather it's a tapestry of events that culminate in an exquisite, sublime plan.

Ultimately Johnathan concluded that if we are to live life in harmony with the universe, we must all possess a powerful faith in what the ancients used to call "fatum", what we currently refer to as destiny.

You know the Greeks didn't write obituaries. They only asked one question after a man died: "Did he have passion?".

Well what d'ya know, love stories have hidden meanings after all. It's not all about smooches and i-love-you-you-love-me-and-we're-a-happy-family.--->coming from a person who HATES love stories and romantic crap!

Well things change, even people and their idealisms and beliefs. Change isn't always welcomed or regarded as a good thing. But it happens anyway.
Change—Make or become different in some particular way, without permanently losing one's or its former characteristics or essence./An event that occurs when something passes from one state or phase to another.
Change doesn't necessarily mean a complete alteration but merely just a modification.

Just a random thought— its just sad to be in love with someone who's in love with someone else don't you think?

I woke up this morning, opened the windows, made a cup of coffee, and went back to bed with a book. Laid there till noon, got up and....arghh who am i kidding.
I woke up early to go to work like a good lil girl even though i told everyone I'm gonna stroll in an hour late.
What a freak. Got here and had nothing much to do so I actually asked for more work! And I got what I asked for! I'm supposed to come up with a system to sort out pictures. Their database hasnt been updated since 2002!!!! I'm so gonna die.
Switched on my Monica mode and tried to come up with an organized system but it seemed too tedious and cluttered. so yes, i'm still stuck as stuck can be.
Really miss my homies who aren't at cyber. Just ain't the same without them around. It's almost 8 and i'm still at the office. Waiting for my work mate to finish so we can walk to kl sentral. Apparently there's a stalker around. *shudder*
Supposed to have dinner with Nicky but....due to unforeseen circumstances I had to cancel it. Sorry Nicky!!!
Well Omar's 21 today!! Happy birthday dude!!! Owh do catch that dashing young man on channel 14 on Astro! He's one of the X-Fresh hosts!!!
My friend's a celebrity!

'I don't know'

Back in a place I don't want to be
stuck in a box where i don't want to break free
a neither here...nor there sort of feeling...
cloaked in uncertanties and tainted with the smell of fear
unanswered questions yet to be proposed
I lie and wait till shadows pass and a new day appears.

good news and then...

I just heard some really great news today! My couz is doing so much better! He can hear us now and he can move a lil bit. Doctors say he'll be out of the ICU soon. Still under
observation and all but i really thank God that he's improving! *grin*
I'm like just sooo happy and relieved that things seem to be taking a turn for the better. The Ignatius's are going through a period of revival! woohoo!!
Now with all the happy news i'm like so eager to go home and get some of that joy and all that love poured upon me...but due to financial constraints...i'll be stuck in Cyberjaya this weekend. *sigh...* Plus it's MMU's mid-term break next week. I'm gonna be all
This sucks!

In reference to a friend's blog, I wonder why people put so much into love. At least Godly love and parental love is eternal. Everything else....phooey!

When all's crumbling down...ROCK ON!!

Sometimes, when all's going well and you're in a comfortable place, with great friends, a nice job, and everything's just fine and dandy, God seems to just come along and roll a tornado down your way. Ever feel that way?
Miiiannn I sometimes feel as if God's just playing some really twisted game on me. With his twisted plans and dark holes that I can't seem to get out off. Well I've come to realise that it's just His way of shaking me up and saying 'Oi you can't do this on your own, beb! I'm the Powerful, Almighty One. Lean on ME!' Well okayy so maybe He's not saying all those stuff in that manner but it sure feels like it! Imagine him sniggering as i try repeated to climb out of whatever situation on my own. I guess all i needed to do was hold out my hand and let Him help me out huhh. Well the past 2 weeks have been a series of downs all the way and right now i'm just left in a state of disbelief and
well...i'm just stoned. You know that moment after you've had a joint or two...and you feel like you're floating...only not...and you think about one thing...and it just materialises into a million other things which seems to break into a million other microscopic particles which leaves you in awe and wondering what was it that you were thinking about in the first place. Strange.
Emotionless. Yet, hanging on and hoping that all will be well soon.

Lots of things come your way, but i guess if they havent killed you'll just end up stronger. Dissapointments may come your way, but hey....what's life without shake ups every so often? Right now it may seem like rough seas all the way for miles and miles in this vast murky ocean. I don't seem to see clear skies approaching anytime soon.
But that's i said, happiness lies in the little things that surround us every day. And i'm just blessed to be around wonderful people. To all my 'Homies', Thanks for everything.

It took me about 15 Minutes just to decide what to wear this mornin! I difficult could it be???? Just walk out of the bathroom....pick something up from the pile and just put it on! But nooooooo.....i had to find something that wasnt crumpled, would keep me warm in my freezing cold office, and something that didnt look too shabby cause i'm goin to watch Mini@tures later.
What a prissy! In short i just wasted 15 minutes of my time....preparing for work, which i don't wanna go to, cause it's just soooo nice to cuddle back in bed and go back to sleep!!!!
But owhh i am, wasting another 5 minutes of my time blogging when i should at least comb my hair and pack my stuff and try to have breakfast.
