squealing school girl

I don't care how uncool this makes me sound. (And i swear i never ever do this.) But I think I'm in LOVE with Ben Barnes!

I just watched "Prince Caspian" and i absolutely loved it! Especially since the actors have all grown and William Moseley looks far more stunning than in the first Narnia movie.

But Ben Barnes is so super adorable! Ben Barnes on his own wouldn't really have had knocked my socks off but, as Prince Caspian... *swoon*

Justin thinks he's a pansy but whatever.

Check out the knight in shining armour =D

did you just say 'chockies'?

Is it REALLY okay for straight, grown men to use words like 'prezzies', 'like totally', 'cutesy', and 'thingy' in a serious conversation?

the many faces of me

Sometimes, I let the old me re-appear.
the part of me that you don't really like
the part of me that lets go
and lives...

You guys like this other part of me
it feels real
I'm your 'bubbles' again
but i don't know....

I might like to be the other me
the one that's silent and watchful
or the one that you'd approach with caution
Intimidating and scary i might seem...

I can't really decide,
there's too many faces of me
layers of fabric and paint
a hodgepodge of colours
I'm make believe...

what women want

I've been watchin Sex And The City again and as much as I love Carrie's takes on life and sex, I can't help wondering if women of today really buy into all that stuff.

Well I was taking to another Mel the other day and she said something that was so true. You know the BIG questions guys often ask?

What do women want?

Its simple really.

They just want to be pursued, to be “wooed and won” to be asked out.

Most of us grow up looking at movies that show us how far a man would go for a girl but when it comes to real life we get a bit disappointed cause it doesn't actually happen that way.

Speaking to the girls in my life, I realised that many of us have taken on the roles of the guy. In today's society its gutsy for the girl to make the first move, to make the plans, to call the shots. But what are all the guys doing?

Well I do admit that most of the guys I know are real gentlemen. They open doors, pull out chairs, offer to carry your stuff, give you lifts and all that jazz and I really respect you guys for that.

What I don't get, is what happens after you've 'won the girl over'?

The scene's changes. Suddenly the chase is not as fun anymore. You've won your prize and you can just relax now....

Here's when the guys stop making phone calls, and stop making plans and stops giving compliments, cause've already got her right?

It ain't that easy pal! You've still got to work to keep/preserve what you have. The persuit doesn't end! You've gotta take the effort!

Girls don't NEED a knight in shining armour. We just WANT one. You know... just in case we get attacked in the street. heh.

Girls don't NEED a handy-man/weight-lifter. We can handle power tools. (seriously!)

There's a lot more things that the feminist in me is bursting to let out but I think you can probably figure it out on your own right.

Girls... complicating creatures I know. But all we want is to be persued. The be paid a little attention.....okay A LOT of attention.

Go have a conversation. There's tons you still don't know about your friend/girlfriend/fiance/wife/ whatever.

For real, our thoughts run a lot faster than yours. And besides, we're far more interesting than cars/guitars/Nintendo/Play Station and whatever else you've got your minds on these days.

Attack on Jalan Bukit Bintang

**updated: Story below is about me (duhh!) The thud i heard was his fist connecting with my skull. yes it was a hard hit and yes i fell to the ground. I didn't see the guy, so no weeliem, i couldn't grab his boobs or pinch his niplets. All i saw were stars. ok. read on. :)

Kuala Lumpur - May 07, 2008

A 24 year-old woman was attacked on the streets of Bukit Bintang as she was returning to her office in the area.

The attack occured along Bintang Walk just in front of Planet Hollywood. The victim said she was on her way back from lunch with her colleagues and as a law abiding citizen, stopped at the junction and waited to cross the road.

"All I saw was a fist, heard a loud thud and then i saw the sky and then the road," she said. The victim sustained minor injuries to her ear and wrist as a result of the attack.

She added that, "I just thank God he didn't punch me in the face or attack my other two colleagues instead, especially since one of them is pregnant."

Asked if she saw the attacker, the victim answered that she couldn't recognize him but witnesses say the attacker was a man with breast. Police are now in the area looking for a 'she-man' or 'lady-boy'.

The incident which happend at 2pm was a shocking one and shouldn't have had happened on the streets of Bukit Bintang.

Deemed the celebrity street, Jalan Bukit Bintang is frequented by many famous actors, singers and even our local Malaysian politicians and conglomerate businessmen.

Members of the public are advised to be extra careful and keep an eye open at all times and be aware of the crazies along Jalan Bukit Bintang.

my favourite colour

I was getting ready to head on out for an event. Took a piss, washed my hands, put on MAC's pucker tendertone lip balm when i noticed a stray curl. Carefully smoothening it I accidentally yanked a strand out and to my HORROR i realised that it was.... WHITE!

There are some moments in time which catch you just gaping in awe/amazement/shock/stupidity. And this was one of those events that you'll probably always remember. Your first public humiliation, your first kiss, your first accident, the first time you made a guy cry, the first time you flashed someone, or the first time you got your heart broken....

My first strand of white hair. Trivial i know. BUT it's my FIRST okayyy! The thing that you think would never happen to you.

My mind raced with thoughts, "I'm too young!!!", "I should've listened to my grandma and soaked my head in coconut oil!" "I shouldn't have had eaten so much junk!"

Arghh. Regrets. first strand white hair. I stared at it for a good five... ok TEN minutes. and then.... I flicked it into the trash and walked away. It's inevitable. I'll have many more firsts. I just need to have a good enough sense of humour and take it in stride.

Or i could dye my hair fuschia!
